The Department of Integrative Nursing Care is comprised of three (3) divisions and houses master’s level programs and post-master’s certifications in the following clinical concentrations: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, Psychiatric Mental Health, and Women’s Health Care. In addition, faculty members of the department teach core courses in all program areas offered by the school: Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Master of Science in Nursing, Doctor of Philosophy in Nursing, Doctor of Nursing Practice, and Post-Master’s Program.

Women and Childbearing Families
The Women and Childbearing Families division is focused on advancing research, education, and practice in health care for women and childbearing families. The division prepares students to provide a full range of health care services to childbearing families and women across the health care continuum.

Pediatrics
The Pediatrics division is engaged in teaching and research related to health promotion, disease prevention, and health restoration strategies for children and young adults. The division prepares nurses for advanced practice roles in the delivery of health care for children and young adults in a wide variety of settings.

Psychiatric Mental Health
The Psychiatric Mental Health division is dedicated to quality education, research, and practice in psychiatric and mental health nursing. The division is concerned with the promotion of optimal mental health and focuses on employing theories of human behavior toward both preventative and corrective impacts upon mental disorders.
