Student Affairs Office

The mission of the Student Affairs Office is to assist students in successfully attaining their academic goals as a nursing student by providing timely and accurate information, quality service, and personal guidance. The Student Affairs Office serves as the central "hub" for the services that will assist students from the time they apply through graduation. The services and support systems offered include:

• Providing financial and scholarship information
  
• Planning commencement activities

The University of Texas School of Nursing at Houston offers financial assistance to students by providing resources, information, and scholarship form(s). Students must apply for admission and be accepted before they can apply for these internal School Of Nursing scholarships.

The Work/Study/Scholarship (W/S/S) Program

The Work/Study/Scholarship (W/S/S) Program is designed to allow undergraduate students to work as unlicensed personnel in various institutions throughout the Texas Medical Center.
