Continuing Education

The School of Nursing Continuing Education Program provides professionals from various backgrounds the opportunity to maintain, or enrich their current knowledge base, as well as maintain the skills and competencies to meet their current and future needs in nursing practice.

Accreditation

The University of Texas School of Nursing at Houston is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Texas Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This activity meets Type I criteria for mandatory continuing education requirements toward re-licensure as established by the Texas Board of Nursing.
