The University of Texas School of Nursing at Houston Center on Aging, established in 1987, advocates interdisciplinary activities, recognizing that the care of older persons requires the collaborative effort of all health care professionals in cooperation with each individual and family.

• NEW! Congratulation to Sharon K. Ostwald, Professor and Isla Carroll Turner Chair in Gerontological Nursing has been appointed by the American Heart Association Council on Clinical Cardiology to serve a two year term. (July 1, 2010 - June 30, 2012) Read more (pdf)
