The University of Texas School of Nursing at Houston Center on Aging, established in 1987, advocates interdisciplinary activities, recognizing that the care of older persons requires the collaborative effort of all health care professionals in cooperation with each individual and family.

Highlights

Ostwald's Entry Takes First Place in UT System Competition

An entry co-authored by Sharon K. Ostwald, Ph.D., R.N. professor at the UTHealth School of Nursing, won first prize in the annual Innovations in Health Science Education competition held by The University of Texas System during a two-day conference in San Antonio, May 18-19. Vaunette P. Fay, Ph.D. professor of clinical nursing in the Department of Nursing Systems, was one of three distinguished UTHealth inductees into The University of Texas Academy of Health Science Education on the conference's opening day.
