The Network has as its goal to advance the biology and treatment of ependymoma, a type of brain tumor that constitutes about 5% of adult intracranial gliomas and up to 10% of childhood tumors of the central nervous system (CNS).

Dr. Lindenberg is the first DNP in the state of Texas to achieve such certification and one of approximately twenty-two nationwide to be designated as Diplomat in Comprehensive Care by the ABCC, the certifying body established by the Council for the Advancement of Comprehensive Care (CACC).
