The RN-BSN Program curriculum includes one graduate-level course which is transferable (with a grade earned of “B” or higher) toward the MSN degree. Credit for this course may be applied to both the Baccalaureate and Masters degrees:

  • N6102 Information Systems in Advanced Nurse Practice 1 hr

The RN-BSN Program permits undergraduate students, who submit a Graduate Record Examination (GRE) minimum score of 500 on both the verbal and quantitative sections and a 3.0 on the writing portion or submit a score of 400 or greater on the Miller’s Analogy Test (MAT), to proceed in an accelerated sequence.

A maximum of ten additional credit hours (with grades earned of “B” or higher) are transferable toward the MSN degree.

  • N5506 Statistics in Nursing - 2 hrs
  • N6101 Clinical & Epidemiological Research for Advanced Practice - 3 hrs
  • N6151 Advanced Pathophysiology - 3 hrs

RN/BSN students meeting the requirement must obtain approval from their advisor to enroll in Graduate courses.

RN-BSN Program students, upon successful completion of N3701 Professional Practice & Promotion of Health, N3702 Issues in Professional Practice, N3703 Management & Leadership, and N3704 Synthesis, will receive 29 hours Advanced Placement Credit for the following courses:

  • N3515 Adult Health Care I - 6
  • N3523 Adult and Older Adult Health Care II - 7
  • N3526 Psychiatric & Mental Health Care - 6
  • N3532 Reproductive Health Care - 5
  • N3536 Child & Adolescent Health Care - 5
  • Total - 29
